来自武汉的基诺乐队可能是目前中国地区最与众不同的年轻乐队。

受英国音乐影响颇深的基诺乐队在跳脱英国音乐表面框架的同时，试图将自身的特点融合入他们所创造的音乐之中，以产生不同于别人的独特气质。首张专辑《再见！维多利亚》是他们首次正式发表自己的作品，这张拥有11首曲目的完整专辑所要表现的并非狂妄的信心与坚强的斗志，而是在试图挥手作别，与往日的自己以及相伴自己的那些美好事物。没有愤世嫉俗，没有革命野心，基诺乐队试图展现的，只是建筑在自身独特世界观之上略带忧郁的情绪。

基诺（The Chinos）

基诺是一支来自湖北武汉的摇滚乐队。

2002年中旬，謝欣和胡坤表兄弟二人與幾個好友成立了一隻玩票性質的樂隊，排練一些例如radiohead,blur等樂隊成員都比較喜愛的英国乐队的作品。 2004年底，胡坤與趣味相投的大學同學張裔結識，并找来一名朋友帮忙打鼓，組建成基诺乐队的前身“靜態滑行”樂隊，尝试创作自己的作品，这时乐队的音乐風格自然是师承了众多英国乐队的特点。在成員不断变更的同时，乐队也完成了自成立以來的第一批作品，並在當地音樂界引起廣泛關注與好評。同期乐队也开始参与武汉本地的一些摇滚乐演出。

2006 初，樂隊早期作品通过网络及音乐杂志进行了小范围传播，并由此获得来自全国乐迷及唱片公司的关注。不过此时的乐队并未急于与任何一家唱片公司签约，而是尝试擺脫一些早期對音樂過度偏執的影響，与以往相比，他们更希望将音乐回归到原始状态，悦耳的旋律与动人的歌词成为了他们最具代表性的全新載體。2006年底，乐队选择了新晋独立厂牌先生小姐唱片作为自己签约的第一家唱片公司，而最終陣容也確定為最初的基本形态：主唱謝欣，吉他手胡坤，貝司手張裔，同时將樂隊名稱改為更加堅實有力的 “基諾（The Chinos）”，希望藉此開始一段全新的歷程。

2007年初，基诺乐队在北京完成了首张专辑的录音工作，这张专辑的制作人也是同样来自武汉的吴涛（前达达乐队吉他手）。经过长达一年的后期工作，基诺的首张专辑《再见！维多利亚》于2008年3月发表。 (转载自网络)
