三星最近一年成為 MP3 Player 的熱門品牌，主要是在於產品的設計上新鮮感高、產品線齊全可以滿足不同族群，更重要的是定價上也越來越貼近消費者。繼 2007 年底的 T10 之後，台灣三星在今夏推出同以熱感應鍵為賣點的 S3，2GB 版建議售價為 2,990 元、4GB 版為 3,790 元，是三星的中階機種。2G 版有玩酷黑、水漾藍、青蘋綠、浪漫粉、極簡白五種顏色，而 4GB 則只有玩酷黑和極簡白，SOGI 本次借拍到的是 2G 的極簡白版。

無論是手機還是 MP3 Player，熱感應鍵本來就是一種很具爭議性的東西，偏偏三星又大幅應用在這兩種產品上。SOGI 測試 S3 熱感應鍵的反應，感覺上比 T10 還鈍了些，在移動選單時還不夠順暢。而 S3 主要有四個方向、中央確認鍵、左邊返回、右邊副選單等七個熱感應 Touch 鍵，只能說購買前先像商家借用是否能夠輕鬆駕馭它，以免買回去發現不如想像中容易操作。

Samsung S3 在正面整個是白色鋼琴烤漆的塗裝，看起來相當精緻，而且沾染指紋的程度算是還可以接受的，但其他顏色的款式可就無法保證了。超薄 9.8mm 的機身加上側面金屬的邊框，時尚感激增，且在握感上加分不少，隨身攜帶是滿方便的一個款式。另外，螢幕為 1.8 吋還算可以接受，但因為價格便宜的關係，螢幕的解析度也只有 176x220 piels，瀏覽影片或圖片就不如 T10 的 QVGA 螢幕細緻。
