Dell Injects Color Into Your Mundane Monochrome Life

Over the past few years, mobile and desktop computing has beenplagued by a heavy dose of monochrome. Unmodded desktop casings weren'texactly the most exciting thing to look at, and notebook casingsusually came in shades of IBM's OG black, Apple's minimalist white, orsomething else along the gray scale chart.

Whilst some bravesouls have tried to instill a sense of color in a couple of theirproducts, it's unfortunate that no one has been able to break themonochrome's iron grip. It's good to know though, that one name inparticular hasn't given up just yet, and in a recent move has justlaunched an entire range of colorful computing products.

[b][u]Studio 15 - Sleek and Unique[/u][/b]

The new Dell Studio 15 line, with prices ranging from RM3299 to RM4299,combines sleek designs, striking visual color elements andpersonalization options with features such as standard built-in webcam,capacitive touch media control buttons, slot load drives, and optionalmercury-free LED displays. They are available today at all Dell storesand Dell concept stores.

Studio laptops also offer several personalization options that allow acustomer to color customize a laptop unique to him or her.  With a 15.4inch high-definition display with TrueLife, customers may pick one of 7color options, including Midnight Blue, Ruby Red, Jet Black orTangerine Orange. For a more subtly personalized laptop, Dell has addedan optional high gloss Graphite Grey choice that can be customized withcontrasting Black, or more vivid Blue, Pink or Red edge trim around thedisplay back.     
   
While Dell Studio systems have rich basic features, they also offercustomers a wide variety of options to ensure the system facilitatesand enhances the user’s digital passions whether that is being thecurator of their own photo or music library or creating cool new webcontent themselves. The optional Blu-ray Disc™ drives help delivercinematic video quality on high definition displays.  Users cansimplify password management while preventing unauthorized access withthe optional fingerprint reader.

Dell is also focused on simplifying the consumer digital experiencewith unique user interfaces like the Dell Dock and Dell Video Chat. TheDell Dock automatically sorts installed software applications on the PCinto user friendly categories.  Customers don’t have to locate and opena program by application name or icon on the desktop, but instead canlocate it by task, like “email & chat,” “security”, “view photos”,“play music”, etc.

The Dell Video Chat is a new, easy-to-set up and use communicationsprogram that allows families and friends can stay in touch using videochat, recording and sending video emails, or even PC-to-PC phone callsaround the world. The application supports four-way calling, makingvirtual family reunions a reality.

Studio Hybrid – Perfect fit for every environment[/b][/u]
