[font="微软雅黑][size=3]“猫王”埃尔维斯-普莱斯利(Elvis Presley)生于1935年1月, 1977年8月因心脏衰竭去世,在短短的42个年头里, 普莱斯利无疑是摇滚乐坛的奠基人物之一,因为是他促使摇滚音乐走入寻常百姓家, 促使人们认识了摇滚,更多人的爱上了摇滚. 普莱斯利最开始签约于SUN唱片公司,1956年转签RCA(BMG)唱片公司,他是将白人乡村音乐与黑人布鲁斯音乐完美结合的典范,在之后几年的黄金时间里, 普莱斯利的Love Me Tender, Too Much, All Shook Up, Jailhouse Rock, Hard Headed Woman, (Now and Then There's) A Fool Such As I, Don't, A Big Hunk O' Love, Don't Cry, Daddy ,Stuck On You等歌曲高居排行榜首,也是其众多作品中的精华之所在.1960年之后,摇滚乐坛发生了一些新的变革,但服兵役归来后的普莱斯利专辑中的歌曲,无论从内容还是演唱形式,均未有大的改变,走下坡路已无可挽回,进入70年代,婚姻的破裂,加上过量吸毒等因素,嗓音也变得粗糙、松散.但无论如何, 普莱斯利的历史地位是不可动摇的.CD1中本人最喜欢的是Spanish Eyes，高低音男声相得益彰，感情真挚，那捏得当，且配器透彻、质朴。之所以选择Always on My Mind作为试听曲，是因为这是一首非常动人心弦的乡村歌曲,虽然普莱斯利唱的不是最好,但确与猫王当时的感情处境有密切的关系.CD2的试听曲Love Me Tender是本人听的第一首猫王的歌曲,也是猫王曲风转变的一个水分岭.[/font][/size]

猫王确实是一个非常不错的歌手，但可惜他去世的太早了，如果他还在应该还有更好的歌给我们，可能就是这样，才成为了一代传奇。怀念！
