Ronan在1977年3月3曰出生於都柏林，成长於一个平凡而温馨的家庭。小时候Ronan就展现出极佳的音乐天赋，开始演奏与创作。少年时期的他在周末假曰时也做过各式各样的工作，包括在鞋店打工以及在母亲的理发厅扫地等。
1993年的一次试演会是Ronan生命中最大的转捩点。当Take That红遍英伦之际，5个来自都柏林且志趣相同的年轻人从一项被称为是『Ireland's answer to Take That』的试演会中击败众多参赛者脱颖而出，由Ronan以及其他四个一样青涩紧张的新朋友－Stephen、Keith、Micky、Shane组成了史上最成功的男孩偶像团体Boyzone。Boyzone成军6年多来一共缔造了16首排行榜前三名的单曲，其中6首勇夺排行冠军，而4张畅销的冠军专辑全球销售量更超过了一千两百万张。毫无疑问的，Boyzone是爱尔兰最成功的流行乐团，而他们的优异成绩也为后来同样出身自爱尔兰的后生晚辈如Westlife、The Corrs、B*Witched踏入流行乐界铺好了一条康庄大道。

嗓音还不错，但没同出来有什么特别的，
其实外文歌曲不一定都是经典的，不要太盲目崇拜吧
